Aomori Prefecture is a prefecture of Japan in the Tōhoku region.

The prefecture's capital, largest city, and namesake is the city of Aomori. 

Aomori is the northernmost prefecture on Japan's main island, Honshu, and is bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the east, Iwate Prefecture to the southeast, Akita Prefecture to the southwest, the Sea of Japan to the west, and Hokkaido across the Tsugaru Strait to the north. 青森県復興プラ ン ~東北の元気、日本の元気を青森から~
「青森県復興プラン」は、震災により大きな被害を受けた本県が、「復旧から復興へ」と新たなステージに移行していくにあたっての方向性を示すとともに、今後の国の予算や制度設計に対する提言ともなるものであり、当面取り組む必要がある対策について、「生活再建」「産業復興」「インフラ復興」の3つの分野を中心に取りまとめたものです。

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
