Digital transformation in transportation: an opportunity for inclusive and sustainable economic recovery
The event will present the results of the first analysis conducted for the region on the digital transformation of this sector. The study focuses on the digital transformation of transport, its challenges and the opportunities it brings to catalyse an inclusive and sustainable economic recovery in Latin America and the Caribbean.
This event will bring together high-level representatives from the public and private sectors in virtual thematic sessions to have a regional and international overview of the digital transformation in transport, share best practices and identify lines of action to create initiatives, projects and policies that drive the digital transformation of transport in Latin America and the Caribbean.
This study had the collaboration of the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA), the Latin American Air Transport Association (ALTA), the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (CLAC), the International Road Transport Union (IRU), Intel, Microsoft and the World Economic Forum (WEF).
