International conference on corporate responsibility, disaster management and law

The international conference on disaster management and law, with core focus on corporate responsibility and industrial disasters, being organised by National Institute of Disaster Management, New Delhi jointly with National Law University, Bhopal, in Bhopal, India from 4-6 Dec 2009 to mark the 25 year anniversary of the Bhopal disaster. It will cover all aspects of disaster risk management, response and recovery where law plays a role, including environmental law on water, air, climate, land-use, agriculture, forests, safety, industry, health, etc. and will have a wider focus for accomodating case studies, jurisprudence, legal histories, litigations, technical, governance, policy analysis and corporate issues.
