Mission
岩沼市（いわぬまし）は、宮城県南部に位置する市。太平洋沿岸、阿武隈川河口の北岸にある。
Iwanuma is a city located in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.The city was seriously affected by the tsunami associated with the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake,which resulted in 180 deaths.

『東日本大震災 岩沼市の記録』は、東日本大震災の発災当日の2011年（平成23年）３月11日から、「岩沼市震災復興計画マスタープラン」期間満了後の2018年度（平成30年度）までの８年間の岩沼市及び関係機関等の活動内容について記録したものです。
岩沼市では、東日本大震災で特に甚大な被害を受けた、相野釜、藤曽根、二野倉、長谷釜、蒲崎、新浜の６地区の集団移転を促進するために、東日本大震災復興交付金による防災集団移転促進事業（国土交通省）を進めています。
これまで岩沼市では、多くの市民が共感し共有できるまちづくりへの想いとして 『 iのあるまち いわぬま～参画と連携で育むまちづくり～』を掲げ、市民と行政がそ れぞれの立場で主体的に、かつお互いが理解し合い協力してまちづくりに取組んできまし た。 震災復興にあたっても岩沼市新総合計画に掲げた理念を踏まえ、次の復興ビジョンと４ つの基本理念に基づいて、震災復興に取組みます。

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
