Mission
自治体災害対策全国会議は、全国の自治体職員が様々な災害による被災体験や教訓を共有するとともに、今度全国各地でその発生が予想される巨大災害などに備える「自治体災害対策全国会議」を主催し、その円滑な運営を図るため、必要な業務を行う。
The Jichitai-Saigai-Taisaku-Zenkoku-Kaigi will enable local government officials from across the country to share their experiences and lessons learned from various disasters, as well as hosting the Conference on Local Government Disaster Prevention Measures to prepare for future large-scale disasters that are expected to occur across the country, and will carry out the necessary tasks to ensure the smooth running of the conference.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
