Mission

読売調査研究機構は、社会のさまざまなテーマについて、セミナーやフォーラムを開催することを目的に設立された一般社団法人です。東京、北海道、東北、中部、北陸、大阪の6地域を拠点に、著名な講師を招いた講演会や対談などのトークイベントを実施していきます。官公庁や企業と協力したシンポジウムや、教育・研究機関と連携した教養講座、読売新聞の各分野の専門記者による講演なども開催し、21世紀を生きる皆様に最新の知見と感度の高い情報を提供します。

The Yomiuri Research Organization is a general incorporated association established for the purpose of holding seminars and forums on various themes in society. Based in the six regions of Tokyo, Hokkaido, Tohoku, Chubu, Hokuriku, and Osaka, they will hold talk events such as lectures and dialogues with famous lecturers. They also hold symposiums in cooperation with government agencies and companies, liberal arts lectures in collaboration with educational and research institutions, and lectures by reporters specializing in various fields of the Yomiuri Shimbun to provide the latest knowledge and highly sensitive information to everyone living in the 21st century.

The organization has no registered commitments.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
