Mission

APG is a network of non-governmental organisations working with the ASEAN Committee on Disaster Managment (ACDM), the ASEAN Humanitarian Assistance Coordinating Centre (AHA Centre) and the ASEAN Secretariat to ensure the people-centred implementation of the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER). AADMER is aligned with HFA. APG works to incoporate intenational standards and covenants into AADMER implementation processes and facilitates civil society engagement.

Disaster Reduction Goal

The APG's goal is to raise awareness of AADMER, catalyse and facilitate the engagement of civil society actors and community-based organisations in AADMER discussions and implementation at national and regional levels.

Voluntary Commitments

The organization has no registered commitments.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
