Established in 1992, the Korea Environment Institute (KEI) is one of the public research institutes of the Korea Council of Economic and Social Research Institutes under the Office of the Prime Minister. As Korea's leading environmental research institute, with 130 researchers including 55 experts, its main objective is to provide science-based policy advice for government, public sector and civil society.

A study on examining flood resilience in Asia and developing assessment indicators of South Korea

The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
