Networks and Others

Mission

Partners for Resilience is a global alliance that started its collaboration in 2010 and continued its work under the strategic partnership with the Netherlands government (2016-2020) and the Eco-DRR programme in partnership with UN-Environment (2018-2021). The alliance consists of about 50 partner civil society organisations and their networks, working in hazard prone areas to strengthen people's resilience in the face of rising disaster risks. The alliance is active at grassroots, national, regional and global level.

With this Integrated Risk Management (IRM) approach, communities strengthen their capacities to reduce the impact of disasters.

Voluntary Commitments

The organization has no registered commitments.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
