Tidal Basin Group is an emergency and disaster management consulting firm in the United States. It provides program and technical management expertise and resources to governments, organizations, businesses, and local communities. Its innovative and effective solutions support organizations and communities in disaster response, recovery, and mitigation of both natural and man-made disasters. Specific services include comprehensive emergency and disaster management, public program management, and advanced technology solutions for complex mission-focused disaster and non-disaster public programs. It works with various sectors, including federal government, state/local/tribal governments, transportation agencies, healthcare institutions, and educational organizations. Additionally, it serves as disaster management and recovery partners in the Caribbean region, providing program support to communities in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and surrounding Caribbean areas to enhance preparedness, facilitate rapid recovery, and minimize future risks.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
