Mission
東京都は、日本の首都であり、関東地方に位置する都。都庁所在地は新宿区。 区部（特別区23区）、多摩地域（26市と西多摩郡3町1村）および島嶼部（2町7村）からなる。 地理的には東京都の主要部は、関東南西部にあって東西に細長い都域を有し、東部は東京湾に面する。西部は雲取山を最高峰とする関東山地となる。それに加えて太平洋上の伊豆諸島および小笠原諸島の島嶼部がある。

Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
