APT-ITU Meeting on role of ICT for disaster reduction

This document is the proceedings of a meeting on “Role of Information and Communications Technology for Disaster Reduction”, which was jointly organized by Asia-Pacific Telecommunity and the International Telecommunication Union on the 28th of February 2005 in Bangkok, Thailand in conjunction with the 2nd Meeting of the APT Conference Preparatory Group for WRC-07 (APG2007-2). This meeting was also a thematic meeting for the 2nd phase of World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS).
