ASEAN Comprehensive Recovery Framework: implementation plan

Source
Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN)

Since the onset of COVID-19 pandemic, ASEAN has responded swiftly, affirming its commitment to work together to overcome the pandemic and concurrently consider its collective and long-term socioeconomic recovery strategy. One of ASEAN’s main COVID-19 initiatives is the ASEAN Comprehensive Recovery Framework (ACRF), which serves as the region’s consolidated exit strategy from the COVID-19 crisis. The ACRF and its Implementation Plan was adopted at the 37th ASEAN Summit on 12 November 2020.

This Implementation Plan is therefore an integral accompanying document (Annex) to the ACRF. Developed with inputs from ASEAN sectoral bodies across the three Community pillars, the Implementation Plan details the specific initiatives and programmes that contribute to the five broad strategies of the ACRF , their respective outputs, phase of implementation, as well as the responsible lead sectoral bodies and other supporting or collaborating sectoral bodies.

The Implementation Plan is a living document and will be regularly updated and monitored in order to remain agile, sustainable, adaptable, and flexible.
