The cyclonic apartheid

Source
People's Watch

This report was produced as a joint effort between several civil society organisations to document the extent of loss, damage and destruction cased by Cyclone Ockhi, which made landfall on November 30, 2017 in Tamil Nadu, India. In particular, the report highlights the crucial areas in which the emergency response system failed and is meant to provide recommendations for the Government of India, state and district authorities and the National Human Rights Commission.
