This newsletter reports on Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA)'s completion of its reconstruction portfolio in earthquake affected areas of Pakistan in 2011-2012, as well as on the social impact of its strategies in the following sectors: education, environment, governance, health, livelihood and water and sanitation. It highlights the signature of a memorandum of understanding between Pakistan and Turkey to build an educational facility in the earthquake affected area of Van, Turkey.

It reports on: (i) ERRA's projects portfolio for the month of December 2012; (ii) ERRA's Chairman and Dy Chairman's visit to Turkey; (iii) the visit of the President and Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir to ERRA headquarters; (iv) ERRA donors and sponsors conference; (v) the 19th steering committee meeting for urban development; and (vi) on the memorandum of understanding signed between ERRA and Riphah university to initiate awareness raising research and diplomas in disaster preparedness.
