Government of Alberta Provincial Recovery Framework

Source
Government of Alberta

This document describes the Recovery function in the Government of Alberta's (GoA) emergency management system.

The aim is to clarify how the GoA will support all emergency management partners in recovery in an all-hazards framework.

The purpose of this framework is to:

  • Serve as strategic guidance for how the GoA will approach disaster recovery in future disaster events.
  • Identify strategic recovery stakeholders and briefly outline their roles and responsibilities as well as how they will be supported.
  • Identify and formalize the strategies and tools that are used to support recovery stakeholders before, during and after disaster events.
