Guidelines for gender-based violence intervations in humanitarian settings

Source
Inter-Agency Standing Committee

This publication is a tool for field actors, with the primary purpose of enabling humanitarian actors and communities to plan, establish, and coordinate a set of minimum multisectoral interventions to prevent and respond to secular violence during the early phase of an emergency. Three sets of activities are included in the guidelines: overview of activities to be undertaken in the preparedness phase; detailed implementation of minimum prevention and response during the early stages of the emergency; and overview of comprehensive action to be taken in more stabilized phases and during recovery and rehabilitation.
