Identifying risks and guiding recovery efforts in Malawi

This brief is part of a series highlighting the World Bank's achievements in disaster risk management initiatives. It presents efforts undertaken by the government of Malawi, with support from GFDRR, the World Bank, the European Union and the UN, to recover after the devastating flooding in January 2015. It includes some main results from the Post-Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA), next steps as well as lessons learned.
