IRP Herald Vol 15: Pre-Disaster Recovery Planning Orientation Workshop at the Asian Institute of Management

The International Recovery Platform Herald (IRP Herald) is the periodic newsletter of the International Recovery Platform. The IRP Herald reports on IRP activities and serves as the knowledge report for the annual International Recovery Forum, as well as recovery-related content from other major conferences.

IRP Herald Volume 15 is the knowledge report for the Pre-Disaster Recovery Planning (PDRP) Orientation Workshop facilitated by the IRP at the Asian Institute of Management in the Philippines, as well as the Consultation of the Handbook on Build Back Better in Recovery in Bangladesh. This edition of the IRP Herald highlights some of the key lessons from the Orientation Workshop, including the reasons for why PDRP is essential. This edition also covers details of the Consultation for the Handbook on Build Back Better, a Handbook which intends to put together relevant information to guide faculty members and students in Bangladesh what strategies and actions can be taken in order to effectively contribute to Build Back Better recovery.
