International Recovery Platform

The International Recovery Platform Herald (IRP Herald) is the periodic newsletter of the International Recovery Platform. The IRP Herald reports on IRP activities and serves as the knowledge report for the annual International Recovery Forum, as well as recovery-related content from other major conferences.

IRP Herald Volume 20 reports on five IRP-supported sessions at the Third World Reconstruction Conference (WRC3). This edition of the IRP Herald highlights various factors identified in the conference as contributing to resilient recovery. It also reviews actions suggested in the conference proceedings to make recovery resilient for cities and urban communities, such as preparing communities for recovery, building recovery institutions, creating recovery financing systems, investing in recovery, and social protection.

IRP Herald Volume 20 is available in both English and in Japanese.
