The International Recovery Platform Herald (IRP Herald) is the periodic newsletter of the International Recovery Platform. The IRP Herald reports on IRP activities and serves as the knowledge report for the annual International Recovery Forum, as well as recovery-related content from other major conferences.

IRP Herald Volume 31 is the knowledge report for the International Recovery Forum 2021: Building Back Better from COVID-19 and Compound Disasters. This edition of the IRP Herald highlights key experiences and lessons from 18 speakers on recovery readiness, evidence-informed decision-making, ensuring no one is left behind, timely decision making, local action, and recovery strategy. It also shares key insights discussed at the Forum on building back better including, building back greener, social protection, policy and governance, partnerships and collaboration, and data and information management.
