IRP Herald Vol 8: IRP’s International Recovery Forum 2015 “Sending the Message of Build Back Better”

The International Recovery Platform Herald (IRP Herald) is the periodic newsletter of the International Recovery Platform. The IRP Herald reports on IRP activities and serves as the knowledge report for the annual International Recovery Forum, as well as recovery-related content from other major conferences.

IRP Herald Volume 8 is the knowledge report for the International Recovery Forum 2015. This edition of the IRP Herald highlights the key lessons and experiences from speakers on “Build Back Better,” including experiences and lessons in recovery from the 1995 Great Hanshin Awaji Earthquake. It also shares key insights discussed at the Forum on national engagement in recovery planning and frameworks, economic impact of recovery, and greater actions for recovery.
