Source
Young Power in Social Action

This paper addresses the vulnerability of Bangladesh to the impacts of climate change and the need to face a challenge of this magnitude through the implementation of effective policies to protect climate displaced persons. It highlights the 18 different policies, acts, laws and programmes relevant to climate displacement in Bangladesh and to the rehabilitation of displaced persons by government and non-government sectors. It calls for a rights-based solution and to review the relevant policies and institutional frameworks, identifying the protection gaps and adopting new policies to protect the environmental migrants.
