Road to recovery Sendai

This booklet describes Sendai City’s present state of recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake and subsequent tsunami and the significant contribution made by citizens, throughout the world. It outlines the damage caused by the earthquake and describes progress in recovery and reconstruction efforts by various citizens, including at the community level, in the agricultural sector and for children. It also provides statistical data, visual images and pictograms, highlighting city and citizen efforts to recover and build back better.
