This report sets out to give a description of the professional efforts, the challenges faced and the lessons learned by European NGOs in the Tsunami disaster. At the same time it puts forward a number of recommendations to the European Union aimed at ensuring the continued and sustainable recovery of the populations of Tsunami affected areas.
