The webinar is part of a series of events and initiatives focused on Disaster risk management in the Indian ocean region. It will take the form of a panel discussion, with a series of open questions to three panellists, experts and practitioners. 

The purpose of this conversation is to illustrate the concrete solutions and approaches that have proven relevant in post-disaster settings, with particular emphasis on regional cooperation. The webinar is designed for IORA Members States and partners and aims to explore how enhanced regional cooperation can strengthen disaster response and recovery mechanisms across the Indian Ocean region.
