California Disaster Recovery Framework 2019

Source
California Governor's Office of Emergency Services

The California Disaster Recovery Framework (CDRF) is a guide that provides a structured approach to disaster recovery in the state of California.

Modeled after the National Disaster Recovery Framework (NDRF), the CDRF aims to guide federal, state, local, private, and voluntary/nonprofit entities in effectively supporting disaster-impacted jurisdictions. Its purpose is to address gaps and promote resilient rebuilding after disasters.

The CDRF focuses on long-term recovery solutions and emphasizes core principles such as individual and family empowerment, leadership, pre-disaster recovery planning, partnerships, public information, unity of effort, timeliness, flexibility, resilience, sustainability, and psychological and emotional recovery.
