Osaka, Kansai Expo 2025, Theme Week Exhibition: A Better Reconstruction from the Great East Japan Earthquake"
Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai will bring together people from countries around the world for six months.
A "Theme Week" focused on creating a future society where life shines brightly with the world. The Reconstruction Agency and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will hold an exhibition themed around the reconstruction towards a future society from disaster areas during the "Future of Community and Mobility Week" in the Theme Week.
The Reconstruction Agency plans to showcase "Stories of Reconstruction" with four main themes: "Earthquake Remembrance and Disaster Response," "Food and Fisheries," "Latest Technology," and "The Fukushima Institute for Research, Education and Innovation (F-REI)."
Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will introduce the endeavors of the people in the Fukushima Hamadoori area, etc., who have maintained their local culture and charm in the face of combined earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear disasters, as well as advanced efforts faced by businesses that are developing cutting-edge robots, rockets, and other products.
New regional attractions and ideas are constantly being developed, ensuring that there are initiatives to align with various interests. With the concept of "Build Back Better," Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai invites you to explore exhibitions with the diverse thoughts and actions of those involved in the disaster "reconstruction" and their "moving" into the future of the disaster areas.
