Mission

文化庁は、日本の行政機関のひとつ。

文化に関する施策の推進、国際文化交流の振興、博物館による社会教育の振興、宗教に関する行政事務を所管する文部科学省の外局である。

The Agency for Cultural Affairs is a special body of the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). 

It was set up in 1968 to promote Japanese arts and culture.

Voluntary Commitments

The organization has no registered commitments.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
