Mission

豊岡市（とよおかし）は、兵庫県の北部（但馬地域）に位置する市。但馬県民局管轄地域。豊岡都市圏を形成する県北部・但馬地域の中心都市で、兵庫県で最も面積が大きい市である。

1925年（大正14年）5月23日 - 北但馬地震（北但大震災）により、城崎郡豊岡町、城崎郡城崎町、城崎郡港村などが被害を受ける。特に豊岡町は目抜き通りの約1500戸が全焼した。

Toyooka is a city in the northern part of Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. 

The 1925 North Tajima earthquake created severe damage in Toyooka, with official government reports, indicating that there were 428 fatalities, 1,016 injuries, 7,863 buildings destroyed, and 45,659 houses damaged by collapse or fire.
