Background
IAEM’s Asia-Oceania Resilience (AOR 2010) is the first conference organized specifically to bring together private and public sector professionals in security, emergency management, crisis management, business continuity management, risk management and disaster relief, focusing on Asia, Australia and New Zealand. AOR 2010 was organized not by a commercial conference company, but by the oldest, most-respected professional association for emergency managers in the world – the International Association of Emergency Managers.

Presentations

From America, Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Philippines and Singapore, we’ve selected sixteen (16) of the best presenters and presentations you’ll see and hear all year. They’ll be talking about public, private and personal resilience. You will hear stories of real experience on the ground, covering all four (4) phases of emergencies, business continuity and disaster management: mitigation, preparation, response and recovery.

Additional Features
Sponsors: AOR 2010 will feature products, services and 20-minute presentations by sponsors you haven’t seen in Asia at any other conference in Asia. IAEM is known for producing the successful and growing Emergency Management & Homeland Security Expo (EMEX) in concert with its Annual Conference in the USA. Now IAEM is offering you the first show in Asia.

Meet the Board: The IAEM-Global Board of Directors of the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) will be present at AOR 2010, attending the first board meeting ever held in Asia.

Networking:
The AOR 2010 schedule will offer you plenty of time for networking with dozens of experienced resilience professionals from other countries in both the public and private sectors, including professionals specializing in the security, emergency management, crisis management, business continuity management, risk management and disaster relief arenas.
