Organizer(s) United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP)
Date
Event Description:

The Response and Recovery project, led by UNCTAD and jointly implemented by ESCAP, the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), and the Economic Commission of Africa (ECA), has been committed to presenting low-income and middle-income developing countries with the macro-financial and fiscal tools and policy assessments to assist with recovery.

This regional conference will showcase the ESCAP Macroeconomic Model - a powerful evidence-based tool for countries in the region to assess and forecast the impact of various fiscal policy packages on the achievement of sustainable recovery in line with the SDGs – as well as other tools and policy assessments by project partners from UNCTAD and ECLAC on capital regulations, sustainable debt assessments, and more.

This conference would be an ideal opportunity for policymakers, researchers, and other interested parties to engage with important policy themes as they plan for sustainable recovery in 2022 and beyond.

Date and Time:

30 June, 2022, 9:30 - 13:00 (Indochina Time)
