Mission
女川町（おながわちょう）は、宮城県牡鹿郡にあり、太平洋沿岸に位置する町である。三陸地方南部に位置し、日本有数の漁港である女川漁港があるほか、女川原子力発電所が立地することでも知られる。
Onagawa (Onagawa-chō) is a town located in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.
Onagawa was one of the most heavily damaged communities by the 11 March 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
