Non Governmental Organizations

Mission

Empatika is an independent international organisation specializing in people-centred research and training. We are passionate about providing in-depth insights and fresh views on development aid and programmes.

We believe that this requires empathetic research approaches which enable people to share their own perspectives and their experiences. The inclusion of people's voices in programme design and policy making is a means for empowerment and ensuring that a multitude of perspectives contribute to the generation of knowledge.

Voluntary Commitments

The organization has no registered commitments.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
