The National Agency for Disaster Countermeasure, abbreviated as BNPB, is the Indonesian board for disaster affairs. It was established in 2008 to replace the National Disaster Management Coordinating Board.

This regulation provides for the organization and functioning of Indonesia’s disaster management system at all stages: planning, prevention, relief and recovery.
Indonesia Disaster Management Expo 2010 which was due to be held from 20-22 October 2010 will now take place from to 4-6 November 2010 in order to synergize with the ASEAN Regional Disaster Emergency Response Simulation Exercise (ARDEX).
This report presents the assessment of the damage, losses and human recovery needs resulting from the earthquakes in West Sumatra and Jambi.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
