An approach to inclusive, community-managed disaster risk reduction (DRR) for the Asia region

This report briefly summarises the approach to community-managed DRR at the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) in Asia, throughout assessment, planning and resource mobilisation phases to improve preparedness, response and recovery in India, Myanmar, Nepal and the Philippines. It also describes the work to protect livelihoods and economic assets at the community level in Laos and Viet Nam, and efforts to integrate risk reduction measures into development programs and build back better during recovery programs in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Cambodia.
