Source
Natural Hazards Center

This report evaluates the perception and preparedness, flood impacts, and recovery of Lewis County (Washington) businesses affected by the December 2007 Pacific Northwest Floods. It specifically addresses the type of businesses engaged in pre-event flood preparedness and questions whether business owners and managers perceived these activities to have been helpful. The report discusses three major themes which are associated with the questionnaire of the survey, namely: (i) risk perception and preparedness; (ii) impacts; and (iii) recovery experienced.
