Source
International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC)

The aim of the book is to raise the awareness of the donors and general public to the ongoing long-term effects of this disaster. This book of images from the Chernobyl zone shows the daily work of the Red Cross teams, as well as the daily reality for those who live in Chernobyl's long shadow. It looks forward to help reawaken the interest in the programme and contribute to the Federation's efforts to find financial resources required to provide this essential support to Chernobyl affected communities and to influence and advocate on the future of Chernobyl programmes and of those most affected by the disaster.
