The report summarizes the Japanese Red Cross Society's (JRCS) response to the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami (GEJET) that occurred on March 11, 2011, which caused significant devastation, particularly in Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima prefectures.

Ten years after the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Tsunami (GEJET) of 11 March 2011, some 41,000 people are still displaced from their homes, living in temporary housings, apartments provided by the municipalities or at relatives' homes.
