Is it resilience a vaccine to cope with emergencies?

This book reports on the Reinforce Rescuers' Resilience by Empowering a well-being Dimension (RED) project aiming to enhance well-being and design training programmes for operators and after-care providers intervening in major emergencies. It addresses psychological risks prevention and management and considers training as the first prevention strategy.

The workshop and major project were implemented between January 2007 and December 2008 and co-financed by the European Commission, DG Environment, Civil Protection Unit.
