Mission
松島町（まつしままち）は、東北地方の宮城県の沿岸地域中部に所在する町。
太平洋の松島湾に面する地域で、日本三景の一つに数えられる松島として広く知られている。
Matsushima is a town in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.
It is most famous as the location of Matsushima Bay, one of the Three Views of Japan, and is also the site of the Zuigan-ji, Entsū-in and Kanrantei.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
