登米市(とめし)は、宮城県の北部に位置する市。

2011年(平成23年)3月:東日本大震災(東北地方太平洋沖地震)が発生。市内では最大で震度6強を観測し、被害を受けた。

Tome (登米市, Tome-shi) is a city located in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. 

Tome was one of several cities severely affected by an earthquake and tsunami on Friday, 11 March 2011, with as many as 6,000 people left homeless.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
