The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), in partnership with CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and with the support of the Ministry of Planning and Sustainable Development of Trinidad & Tobago is pleased to invite you to the Training Session on “Resilience, Competitiveness and Innovation”, to take place on 8 October 2014 in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.

The training session will provide a critical space to discuss innovative approaches that enhance resilience to disasters, ensuring competitiveness in the long term. Additionally, the training session aims to facilitate an exchange of best practices among participants, while promoting stakeholder-collaboration to successfully respond to and recover from disasters.

This event will take place in the framework of the Americas Competitiveness Forum (ACF) VIII, to be held on 8-10 October in Port of Spain.
