The mission of Agencia Mexicana de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AMEXCID) is to cooperate is to share the best of Mexico to face global challenges and grow together . In Mexico and the world, they work hand in hand with specialists and they build strategic alliances with the private and academic sectors, civil society and local governments; to coordinate, plan and evaluate the Cooperation and Promotion efforts (educational, cultural and tourist, technical and scientific, fi nancial and economic). With this they develop capacities to contribute to sustainable human development, reduce inequality and improve the quality of life of people. Through AMEXCID, Mexico offers and receives cooperation for development. On the one hand, they share successful experiences, strengthen capacities and exchange human, technical and financial resources with developing countries, particularly in Central America and the Caribbean. On the other hand, they work with strategic partners to strengthen the capabilities, improve the institutions and generate tangible results that strengthen Mexico.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
