Mission

The New Phytologist Trust Central Office is based at Lancaster University. We are proud to be part of Lancaster Environment Centre, one of the largest centres for environmental research in the world.

The New Phytologist Trust owns two journals, New Phytologist, and Plants, People, Planet. In line with the Trust's mission, all papers published in New Phytologist are made free to access after one year, while Forum papers, Tansley reviews and Tansley insights are free to access immediately. Plants, People, Planet is an Open Access journal. Both journals are published by Wiley.

Voluntary Commitments

The organization has no registered commitments.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
