This paper provides an update on the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan. The paper reports that the supply of electricity, gas, and water is gradually being restored, and international assistance is being provided to support search and rescue efforts, logistics, and temporary shelters. The paper also highlights health concerns, including shortages of doctors and medicine, and a focus on the elderly. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has ordered the construction of temporary shelters, and municipalities across the country are also preparing shelters for evacuees. The paper highlights the challenges faced by the affected communities, as well as the efforts being made to support them.
