International Recovery Platform Strategic Framework

The IRP Strategic Framework guides the activities and governance of the International Recovery Platform partnership. It sets out IRP's strategic goals and guiding principles, and is updated periodically to reflect the evolving needs of the partnership and developments in disaster recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction.

The Framework sets out how IRP drives progress on Priority Four of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, which calls for Building Back Better in recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction. IRP works with governments and partners to translate recovery experience into the knowledge, tools and guidance that help countries recover in ways that reduce future risk.
