This booklet is a guide for children that deals in a narrative way, with the earthquake problem. It gives definitions of: earthquake, magnitude, epicenter, furnace, fault, plate tectonics, waves, after-shock, seismograms, Richter and Mercalli scales, tsunami. Current research on prevention and forecasting is also mentioned, as well as the themes of emergency assistance, safety rules against future earthquakes; annexes feature the main earthquakes which occurred in Morocco, and what action should be taken during and after an earthquake.
