Thailand: Disaster prevention and mitigation act (Act of 28 August 2007)

This act provides for the organization and management which is necessary to ensure mitigation of, preparedness for, response to and recovery from disasters in Thailand. It regulates the institutional framework for disaster prevention and management and the organization, functioning, powers and responsibilities of the National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Committee and the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation.
