About National Conference for Promoting Disaster Risk Reduction (Bosai Kokutai)
The National Convention for the Promotion of Disaster Risk Reduction (commonly known as "Bosai Kokutai") is one of the largest disaster prevention events in Japan, hosted by the Cabinet Office and other organizations, and in which industry, government, academia, NPOs, civic groups, and citizens present and exchange disaster prevention activities on a nationwide scale.

This year marks the ninth time the event has been held, with the aim of raising public awareness of disaster prevention, sharing knowledge and experience about disasters, and building cooperation among those working on disaster prevention in order to promote "self-help and mutual assistance," "cooperation among various actors," and "improvement of disaster prevention capabilities in the community." Like last year, the event will be held in a hybrid format that combines on-site and online participation. It is one of the largest disaster prevention events in Japan, where many organizations and organizations exhibit every year to disseminate and share their efforts and knowledge.

Admission is free and open to everyone, from the general public to local governments, companies, and disaster prevention experts, from children to adults. We look forward to seeing you there.
